 Question:  From NCERT  | NEET   || [Difficult level:Easy]  ||

Q1 - Life spans of organisms may be as short as ________ or as long as _________ -
(1) a few minutes ; several years
(2) a few days ; several thousand years
(3) a few minutes ; few thousand years
(4) a few days ; few thousand years_

:Solution -

NOTE -

I have kept an option of few minutes because some students might confuse bacterial life span here. We should consider that but - NCERT can’t be challenged. Moreover many might be tempted to “several thousand years” due to vastness of the word “thousand”.

Correct answer will be option (4). .......

Solution -

NOTE -

This was easy one but I had found this strange line in Summary of chapter 2 which was missing in main text content. To be honest, option 1 can also be answer if we go by technical and scientific reasoning, but as I said earlier - NCERT shouldn’t be challenged. That’s why I am present you all such questions which might create a controversy between reality and NCERT. Hope you understand.
