Trust the process, not the source!
The most common question
Sir Allen jao ya Aakash.
PW or Unacademy?
This is one of the most useless questions.
Every resource/source has its own sets of pros and cons.
You will find toppers from Both Allen and Akash
Both Marrow and Prepladder
Both DAMS/Bhatia
Infact - the question should - how should I prepare! What’s the process?
And you will realise- most people who clear the exam irrespective of the source - do the same things.
From NEET PG perspective
1. Repeated Revisions
I once outlined a plan and most individuals who crack - tend to follow broadly the same guidelines if the exam is going to happen in 6 month
3-2-1 month Followed by last 7 -10 days
If they had ~1 year - then 5-3-2-1 and last 10 days.
Basically 3-4 revisions are a must.
Most important being the revision in last 1 week.
2. Solving PYQs
PYQs are worth their weight in gold. They are the actual gold standard. Not only are they repeated - 20/30% of the questions - but the topics tend to stay the same to make up >80% of your paper.
Milestones/GCS /Trauma Sx/Cystic Fibrosis of the top of my head.
3. Studying daily and consistently
Small incremental changes result in big gains later! Everyone who got a good rank - even during internship - made it a point to not waste time - tried to study or complete a small topic daily!
4. Concise material for revision and a plan!
Even Those who prepare from vast resources - skim down and distill down - during each revision - either they bookmark pearls / make their own skimmed notes(like Akanksha Nag Did) / have First Aid (Me/Rishabh)/ Test And Discussion notes (Sanil Garg) etc.
But plan for revision! and what to revise in last 1 month.
Figure out what’s best for ‘YOU’ - listen to my or anyone’s advice on process of selection - not the source of selection (including me - don’t get into FOMO - listen to my advice on the process - the source can be changed as per your preference!!)
